Congratulations! You are presenting at EDM 2022, which will be a hybrid conference. Some poster presenters will be remote and some will be in-person. This document is your 1-stop shop for preparing for a great conference experience.
The first thing you should do is double check the date and time of your session in the schedule (https://educationaldatamining.org/edm2022/schedule/). We suggest you place the day and time into your personal online calendar along with a reminder. EDM2022 uses Time Zone UTC+1. If you need assistance converting time zones, please use https://www.timeanddate.com/ or similar type website.
FOR REMOTE PARTICIPANTS: Prepare and upload the poster materials and video as instructed (Check out here). You will use vTogether.io for your actual presentation. As a presenter, this is the most important system with which to be familiar. Please refer https://educationaldatamining.org/edm2022/virtual-space-for-posters-and-networking-vtogether/ for more details. The link for accessing vTogether.io will be provided in due course.
FOR IN-PERSON PARTICIPANTS: Prepare your physical poster in A1-size portrait-orientation as instructed (Check out here). You will attend the dedicated poster session to discuss your research project with EDM participants physically. Additionally, to wider your conference experience by gaining an access to remote EDM participants and poster presenters, you are encouraged to bring your computer with appropriate communication devices, including webcam, microphone and earphone, and use it to present your poster virtually at the same time through vTogether.io.
Remote and in-person poster presenters should be present at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the poster session for preparation. Every Presenter must be registered for the Conference.
