Every conference attendee must register for the conference.
The registration fee includes:
- Access to all technical programs including keynote talks, tutorials, workshops, technical paper presentations, and the Doctoral Students Consortium during July 11-14, 2023
- Late Evening Welcome Reception on July 11, 2023
- Evening cultural programme followed by Dinner on July 12, 2023
- Conference Banquet Dinner on July 13, 2023
- Breakfasts, Coffee Sessions, and Lunches on July 11, 12, 13, 14
- Registration Kit
- One Year complimentary membership of the EDM Society
EDM 2023 will have several scholarships available for the conference attendees. Please take a look at the Scholarships page for more details. Attendees who wish to avail the scholarships are required to apply separately after registering for the conference. The scholarship amount will be reimbursed and the details on the reimbursement will be shared at the time of award of scholarship.
Registration Categories and Important Dates
Based on when you register, the registration charges will be different. We have three types: Early Bird, Normal, and Late. The important dates are as follows.

Author Registration
- Every accepted regular paper (long or short), poster paper, or demo paper, or paper in the doctoral consortium, must be presented and the designated presenter must register. This registration must be completed by the early bird deadline of June 15, 2023 (anywhere on the earth).
- Authors who fail to register for the conference by the deadline or fail to present their work in person will have their paper withdrawn from the conference proceedings.

Important Notes
- The international delegates should consult the Indian consulate in their respective countries to determine if they need a visa to travel to India and if needed initiate the visa processing at their earliest. Additionally, the international delegates needing an invitation letter to apply for visa, should email the request for letter to edm.csa@iisc.ac.in.
- The registration fee is inclusive of 18% GST (Goods and Services Tax), as per the Government of India’s regulations.
- To complete your registration and payment of the registration fee, you will be redirected to EXPLARA, a third-party registration service provider.
- If you are using Card issued other than India, please use the “Stripe” payment option <2nd Gateway> on the payment page.
- In case you do not receive a confirmation message after making the payment, we kindly request you to contact us immediately at edm.csa@iisc.ac.in with relevant details so that we can assist you promptly.
