EDM'09 will be held at the University of Cordoba, an institution of higher learning located in the Andalusian province of Cordoba, Spain. It was established in 1972, and within just a few decades has managed to position itself as one of the key universities in the Andalusian region and the whole country.

Arriving to Cordoba

Flights to/from Spain

Cordoba has no airport, but has good transportation to/from other city with airports, such as Sevilla (Distance: 138 km), Malaga (187 km) and Madrid (400 km).

Train to/from Airport

Travelling by train from the big airports is quite easy. Approximate prices for July (from 1 July to 4 July):

  • AVE train Madrid-Cordoba-Madrid, about 120 Euros; One direction travel time: 1:45hr
  • AVE train Sevilla-Cordoba-Sevilla, about 56 Euros; One direction travel time: 0:45hr
  • AVE train Malaga-Cordoba-Malaga, about 50 Euros; One direction travel time: 1:00hr.
