Many of the challenges in learning and teaching cannot be addressed from a single perspective, and solutions are strengthened by crossing disciplinary, contextual, and cultural boundaries. EDM 2026 emphasizes the opportunities that emerge through building connections across disciplines, contexts, geographies, cultures, and societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Topic of Interests<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Developing new techniques for mining educational data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Domain Knowledge Modeling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational Recommenders, Instructional Sequencing, and Personalized Learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equity, Privacy, Transparency, and Fairness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human Factors, Transparency, and Explainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learner Cognitive and Behavior Modeling and its association with performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learner Knowledge and Performance Modeling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comparing Human and Artificial Intelligence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning Analytics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social and Collaborative Learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reproducibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we will be taking part in the <a href=\"https:\/\/festival-of-learning-2026.info\/\">2026 Festival of Learning<\/a> alongside the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (<a href=\"https:\/\/iaied.org\/conferences\">AIED<\/a>) and Learning at Scale (<a href=\"https:\/\/learningatscale.acm.org\/\">L@S<\/a>), with additional contributions from the International Society of the Learning Sciences (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.isls.org\/\">ISLS<\/a>) and the Society for Learning Analytics Research (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solaresearch.org\/\">SoLAR<\/a>).
