Conference Venue

The EDM 2011 conference is held at the Eindhoven University of Technology, De Zwarte Doos Building (highlighted on the map, you can check campus map for the details).
Eindhoven is easy to reach from Benelux, Europe, and Worldwide. Basic directions and the map of the campus can be found here.

The venue is just 300 meters from the main train station. Already from the station you can see a tall green building with TU/e logo on the roof. Conference venue is in the building just in the front of it. map in pdf

Travelling:
By Plain: Schiphol Airport is connected with the city-center of Eindhoven with frequent direct trains; the journey takes 1h 27 mins .Eindhoven Airport connects Eindhoven with many European cities with regular flights operated by discounters like Ryanair. Bus goes to the city center every 20 minutes and the journey takes 15-20 minutes. Other regional and internatinal aiports include Dusseldorf Weeze airport (60 km, 1h by car), Brussels Airport (130km, 1h 20 min by car),  Dusseldorf Airport (115km, 1h 15 mins by car)

Accomodation:

the prospective attendees are advised to arrange the accommodation on their own. There are differently priced hotels located within a walking distance from the conference venue including e.g. Holiday Inn Eindhoven, Crown Hotel, Park Plaza Mandarin Eindhoven, Sofitel Cocagne Eindhoven, Queen and others.
