Student Volunteers

Qualifications

Volunteers must be undergraduate or graduate students during the current academic year (2009/10). Students from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. No experience is necessary, only enthusiasm, reliability, and the willing to be an integral part of the conference.

How to Apply

Student volunteer acceptances will be emailed out on May 1, 2010. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list, please email Ryan Baker, rsbaker@wpi.edu, and include your name and full affiliation.

Benefits and Duties

As a student volunteer for EDM’10, you will receive free conference registration. In return, student volunteers will be asked to work 8-10 hours over the course of the conference. Typical student volunteer duties consist of working the registration desk, but also in anything else that helps the conference runs smoothly.
